With all of the anticipation and excitement for next-gen news at this year’s E3 it’s easy for information regarding the current console generation to seemingly get passed over, swept under the rug or any other sort of prepositional based analogy. That doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been any current console news (seriously though, did you see that building collapse in the Battlefield 4 multiplayer demo?), and from the shadows of the nex-gen coverage a current gen game emerges. Not the game that we deserve, but the one we need – Batman: Arkham Origins.
Finally, after a slew of information and promotional materials we have a gameplay trailer for the next installment in the Arkham series. The one where “Arkham” doesn’t really make much sense, but hey, franchise gonna franchise. The last trailer did just enough to whet our appetites (unless you’ve been playing Injustice online, in which case you were probably just pissed off the moment that you saw Deathstroke), but now we finally get to see Batman making use of those wonderful toys.
