Currently, Flair is preparing to make his in-ring return for what will be the final time in late July. Flair will be competing in a tag team match against opponents yet to be determined.

It will all go down inside the Nashville Fairgrounds on July 31. Many professional wrestling fans have expressed concern for Flair returning to the ring given his age, but if his recent workout footage is anything to be considered, “The Nature Boy” is doing just fine physically.

Fans are going nuts after seeing how intense Flair is going inside the gym. He recently shared some footage from his workouts on Twitter, which really got fans inspired, hyping Flair up for his upcoming return.

Flair can be seen hitting an intense rower session, followed by a biking session, a heavy sled push, and finally, a battle ropes session.

Check it out here:

The WWE legend began by implementing the seated T-Bar Row exercise so that he would have a strong upper back, be able to maintain a good posture, and be able to improve his muscular balance. In order for a champion like Ric Flair to be able to handle bumps inside the squared circle, he must be able to increase the strength and size of his muscles.

Additionally, the WWE Hall of Famer burned calories and increased his stamina as he worked out. As a way to strengthen his leg and joint muscles, Flare pushed himself on the Elliptical Cycle. In addition to serving as a means to stay fit after being injured, this exercise is designed to improve your overall fitness. Despite this, ‘The Nature Boy’ has gone to great lengths to make sure that he’s prepared for a classic match-up of his own.

Ric Flair then performed the Sled Push. Flair pushed the sled for a short distance with minimal weight in this exercise.

To conclude his excellent gym session, Flair finished the workout routine with the Battle Rope Finisher.

Ric Flair’s in-ring return

It remains to be seen who Flair will compete against inside the ring on July 31. Early speculation suggested that longtime rival Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat could be the opponent.

However, Steamboat recently revealed he turned the opportunity down. Another big name tossed around has been Hulk Hogan, another of the most iconic names in professional wrestling history.

Of course, nothing has been confirmed as of this writing. Regardless of who the opponent will be, one thing is for sure, Flair will be in tip-top shape and ready to go.
