KSI was slated to box Dillon Danis on March 29, 2025, in Manchester, but he backed out days before. Joe Rogan shared his surprise on his Fight Companion podcast. The Misfits Boxing Series 21 event had fans excited until KSI’s illness forced a postponement. Rogan’s take has sparked talk.

Fight Scrapped

KSI and Danis were set to face off at AO Arena. Dubbed Unfinished Business, the bout fell apart when KSI announced on March 21 that sickness sidelined him. Misfits Boxing postponed the entire card, leaving no new date yet. This echoes a 2023 clash when Danis withdrew from fighting KSI.

Rogan Weighs In

Rogan found it hard to grasp.

“How does KSI pull out against Dillon Danis? Dillon’s not a boxer. KSI is a pretty good boxer, he’s legit,” he said on his podcast. “It’s crazy that he would (pull out). You’d think he could not even be at his best and take that fight.”

He spoke with Brendan Schaub and Gordon Ryan during UFC London coverage, suggesting KSI’s edge should’ve held up.

KSI’s Reason

KSI posted on X, saying he’d been sick and felt terrible. Doctors ordered rest, halting his training. He played in a Sidemen charity soccer match on March 8, but his health dropped after. He called it a postponement, promising to reschedule once recovered.

Danis saw it differently. On X, he claimed KSI “pulled out,” not just postponed, stressing the cash and chaos of scrapping a multi-million-dollar event. He mocked KSI’s “sniffles,” urged Logan Paul to step in for a rematch, and said he felt bad for the undercard fighters like Darren Till and Roman Fury, plus ticket holders.
