Jake Paul won’t fight Israel Adesanya.

There is a whole list of current and former UFC fighters that the YouTuber turned pro boxer will fight, but the reigning defending UFC middleweight champion is not one of them.

‘Only UFC fighter I wouldn’t fight’

In a recent interview with the TimboSugarShow, Paul was asked if he would do a one-off boxing match with ‘Stylebender.’

“Honestly bro, he’s like probably the only fighter in the UFC that I wouldn’t fight,” Paul said. “He’s tall as fu*k, and bro, his striking… I mean, I think he’s probably, arguably, one of the best strikers- top three ever in the history of the sport, you know? But there are a lot of UFC fighters and yeah, he’s literally really the only one that I wouldn’t [fight].

It makes sense that Paul wouldn’t fight Adesanya because the 25-year-old see’s the UFC champion as a friend.

Paul vs. Diaz

Someone that Paul does have his eyes on is Nate Diaz, who fights next month at UFC 279. After Diaz’s fight in September, he will be done with his UFC contract and free to do whatever he pleases.

While Diaz reportedly told Dana White that he wouldn’t fight the YouTuber turned pro boxer, Paul believes the Diaz fight will happen in the next two years.

“Yeah, that that’s gonna happen within the next two years, for sure,” Paul said. “It’s huge, man, and it’s getting closer and closer to being real. And finally, the UFC got him the fight with Khamzat.”

Me vs. Nate will probably be at 180 and then, you know, I think it’s like okay, Jake Paul beats Nate then you know, it just gets closer and closer to Conor not being able to duck me anymore.”

Andrew Tate?

When asked if Paul is interested in fighting Andrew Tate, the ‘Problem Child’ said he believes it’s a step backward at this point in his career, but it has potential in the future.

Paul revealed he is looking at October for his return date after his fight with Hasim Rahman Jr. fell through.
