Frank Shamrock says Shields killed Strikeforce’s TV ratings

Frank Shamrock was out conquering the world when you were still spilling your bottle of milk on your mother’s commemorative TV guide of ‘Dallas‘. That’s a bit of a stretch. Dude is only 37 which is only like 15 in Randy Couture years. When Frank Shamrock made his MMA debut against Bas Rutten in 1994; Lorena Bobbit was found not guilty of dismembering her husband’s…thing, Dallas Cowboys won Superbowl 28, Tonya Harding’s ex-husband pleaded guilty in attacking Nancy Kerrigan, Kurt Cobain died of an overdose and you probably just bought your first Mossimo shirt. Frank Shamrock managed to grab the unanimous decision against Bas Rutten in Pancrase that year just one day after the first version of Netscape was released. Dude has held the UFC and Strikeforce Middleweight belt along with a couple of figher’s failed ambitions along the way. In this Fight! Magazine interview, Frank Shamrock not only expresses his disdain for Jake Shields but he also says Shields killed Strikeforce’s ratings last month at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers. Props to the UG for the tip.
