Fedor thinks videogames are a waste of time

One day your children will read about a thirty-foot tall giant that lived in the hills of Russia. They will learn that his garments were made from the fear and tears of his opponents and his bones were constructed of adamantium. When this giant would throw an overhand right, planets would recoil in terror and the entire field of astrophysics would take note on its precise trajectory. Time and space would stand in awe at the various ways in which this man broke the limitations they’ve placed on the universe. This man is Fedor Emelianenko and…he thinks videogames are a waste of time. That’s what he told M-1 Global’s Michael Mazur in an interview this week.

No, I don’t play games. I personally think it’s waste of time. As for this particular game [EA Sports MMA], the initiative came from my manager Vadim Finkelstein. As i understand, videogame fans would love to see me as a virtual character. That’s why I gladly accepted the offer. When the game hits the stands I’ll be the one to try it myself.

Apparently cybernetic robots believe that playing their lesser counterpart on a digital format is a waste of time. Bummer. In the interview, he also said that the only thing he was thinking about in his Brett Rogers fight was getting back home to his family. That should make the chicks over at GalsGuidetoMMA do their traditional ‘panty dropping’. [Source]
