UFC welterweight contender Covington has recently stirred up a lot of controversy by calling Brazilian fans “filthy animals” in post-fight speech after defeating Demian Maia at UFC Fight Night 119. Yesterday he also repeated the comment on his Instagram Live in an altercation with former UFC welterweight champion Fabricio Werdum and called him “f****t.”
In the video, Covington claimed that Werdum punched him that’s how all the chaos initiated.
Former light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, couldn’t hold on and tweeted that Werdum did the right thing by hitting Covington with a boomerang for his racist comments.

Jones has an existing relationship with Colby Covington, but Covington’s recent comments calling Jones a “piece of a s**t dirtbag,” it would appear that they two aren’t all that fond of each other.
Currently, Jones is waiting for his hearing to resolve the issue of his failed drug test.
