Bobby Green expects Nate Diaz to score a knockout over Jake Paul in their upcoming boxing fight.

Social media sensation turned boxer Jake Paul is coming off a bout with Tommy Fury, son of boxing icon Tyson Fury, in his last outing two months ago. Both undefeated fighters put their records on the line in an exciting affair that went the distance. Eventually, Tommy managed to assert his boxing prowess and got the nod on the judges’ scorecards, handing Paul the first defeat of his professional career.

Bobby Green predicts Nate Diaz to KO Jake Paul

During the UFC Vegas 71 pre-fight press conference Wednesday, Green shared his thoughts on the upcoming boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz.

“We’re going to do our thing,” said Green. “I went down there and train with him for a few weeks, dope guy. With the whole Jake Paul fight stuff, everyone believes that because Jake is bigger that he’s going to have the advantage with the size. Jake’s got one tool. He’s going to duck his head like this and do this amateur a** boxing. It takes more than that.

“All we gotta do is worry about a stupid right hand. When it comes to boxing, he don’t got that boxing like that and as the rounds go later and later, it go more and more in our favor.”

Green predicted a finish for Diaz inside six rounds.

“Another thing you guys don’t realize is Nate can hit. I’ve been going some round with him and let you know how it go sometimes. Look how when he hit Leon, had him on skates. So, y’all don’t understand his power too. The kid’s got power. Wait till you let him put that size on him. He’s going to have some power too. I think we might sleep Jake to be honest.”

“I don’t think Jake’s getting past six rounds. I bet round six, he goes down. I put my money on it.”

Green detailed Diaz’s fight mentality

‘King’ Green opened up about his experience training with Diaz and the mentality he carries going into fights.

“Nate is my homie. He’s one person who’s like nah bro, this is a f**king fight. Your squad against my squad, what’s up, and we’re not cool till after the fight. We don’t got to shake hands, be cool or nothing until after fighting. If you want to be cool, if not, f**k it. We can keep this sh*t going and we’ll fight in the background. We’ll fight when we see each other again. It’s me versus you, my family versus your family.”

Nate Diaz is scheduled to fight Jake Paul on Aug. 5 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. It will mark his pro boxing debut after departing the UFC a few months ago.
