Chris Weidman shared that Stipe Miocic has been putting on the muscle on the down-low.

Former UFC Middleweight champion Chris Weidman is reeling off a horrible leg injury he suffered in his latest outing with Uriah Hall in April 2021. Whilst in recovery, Weidman talked to Anderson Silva, a former foe he beat twice who also succumbed to a similar fate, about getting back on track.

At the UFC X, Weidman talked about the potential fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.

Chris Weidman claims Stipe Miocic got jacked up to 250 pounds

In an interview with The Schmo, Chris Weidman claimed that Miocic has jacked up to a “solid 250 pounds.” Miocic has traditionally been on the smaller side for heavyweights usually going into competition at 225 lbs.

If Miocic has got up to that mark on the scales, Jon Jones will be looking at a very different fight than initially thought.

“Tell you what man, I seen Jon Jones really working to gain size and Stipe was always, he was smaller. I’ve trained with Stipe, he’s my boy, I was hanging out with him last night. Bro, he got big and he’s been doing it quietly.

“He’s like a solid 250 (lbs) right now, solid 250 and whenever he decides to come back, he’s a problem. I don’t think Jon Jones wants that fight. If he thinks he’s going to be going against a 225-pound Stipe, he’s wrong. He got a big strong boy that won’t stop coming forward, believes in himself, and is very well-rounded.”

Weidman says Jake Paul doesn’t want to fight Anderson Silva

‘The All-American’ stated that Jake Paul recognizes he’ll be out of his depth against an all-time great like ‘The Spider’. Despite the money they would stand to make from the exhibition boxing match, Paul seems hesitant to make it happen.

“Jake Paul does not want that. That’s the fight I want to see. Jake Paul’s calling out all these guys with UFC contracts but you got f**king Anderson Silva right there. They’re the same weight, makes perfect sense but he doesn’t want that.

“That’ll be a big fight too man, a lot of money. But Jake Paul, I think he knows that’s a little bit too much for him.”

Silva has been linked to a match with Jake Paul over the last few months but the YouTube sensation does not seem to be willing to the idea.
