Coming off a loss to Brandon Moreno in his last outing, Kai Kara-France looked to get back in the winning column against Amir Albazi at UFC Vegas 74.

Round 1
Albazi with a lot of feints to open the bout. KKF circles him. Low kick by KKF. Albazi shoots for a takedown disguised behind a right hand. He grapples with KKF off the fence. They separate. Outside low kick by KKF. Low kick by KKF. Albazi fires one back. Albazi misses an overhand right. KKF with a kick to the thigh. They both go for a jab. Check left hook by KKF and straight right from Albazi. KKF displaying good lateral movement. Nice overhand right from KKF.
Round 2
Low kick by KKF. Nice right hand from Albazi. Jab to the body by Albazi. Low kick from Albazi. Jab from Albazi. Leg kick from KKF. They both clash with a low kick. Nice overhand right grazes KKF. Albazi shoots and pins KKF against the cage. KKF with a 1-2. Albazi lands a jab. Inside leg kick by KKF. Albazi lands a solid left hand. Nice jab from KKF. He goes to the body with a jab. Big right from Albazi and a nice left. Strong left hook from Albazi. Uppercut lands from Albazi. KKF gets a two-punch combo.
Round 3
Albazi shoots against the cage. He holds onto the body lock and is on the back. Amazing reversal from KKF and Albazi gets a hold of him again off the fence. He trips KKF down but KKF does well to not go down fully. KKF is on the side. Albazi takes half guard before moving to the back. Albazi throws punches from the back. Albazi is looking for a choke. KKF does well to defend. They get up with Albazi still on the back. KKF manages to escape and is on top. Albazi gets him in full guard. KKF lands elbow and heavy punches to close the round.
Round 4
Albazi with a counter left hand. KKF steps in but misses the combo. Low kick by KKF. Body kick by KKF. Nice step in jab from KKF. Jab to the body by KKF. Albazi goes for a takedown, KKF stumbles and gets right back up. They separate. KKF gets an elbow through. Two jabs from KKF. Inside leg kick by KKF. KKF catches Albania’s kick and gets him down. They get back up with Albazi grappling with him against the cage. They separate. Low kick from KKF.
Round 5
KKF gets a hard jab in. Another jab from KKF. Big right hand on the button from KKF. Albazi shoots and pins him against the cage. KKF gets back up instantly. KKF moves around the cage with Albazi still pinning him. They separate. Albazi with a nice counter right. Nice right hand to the body by KKF. Inside leg kick by Albazi. Albazi lands a strong right hand and follows up with a left. Inside leg kick from KKF. Jab from KKF. Nice uppercut and left hook by Albazi. Jab from KKF and another one. Slip and rip from KKF with a right hand. Big right hand from KKF. Jab from KKF. Left hook from KKF.
