Cosmo Alexandre 'Sad' After Knowing Sage Northcutt Had Long Surgery A former UFC contender 'Super' Sage Northcutt made his debut last weekend at \u201cEnter the Dragon\u201d against Brazilian kickboxer Cosmo Alexandre. However, Northcutt failed to impress as he suffered a brutal loss after eating a vicious right hook from 'Good Boy' with just 29 seconds into their contest.\u00a0Following his defeat, Northcutt took a trip to the hospital which revealed he suffered multiple facial fractures and undergone 9-hour long surgery to take care of the damage. \u201cGood Boy\u201d isn't celebrating the defeat of his opponent Northcutt who's currently laying on the hospital bed recovering from surgery. We can assume he isn't mean like MMA fans who're passing on boasting comments about Sage following the ONE debut. \u201dWhen I got back to the hotel there were a lot of messages online, people talking trash at him,\u201d Alexandre told MMA Fighting. \u201cI honestly don\u2019t know why. I can\u2019t understand why people hate him so much. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s because he\u2019s good looking, like a model. I can\u2019t understand, and I don\u2019t like that. I asked people to stop tagging me on those messages.\u201d \u00a0Urijah Faber\u00a0was present at Northcutt's corner in Singapore details the seriousness of his injury that during the operation they had to remove "30 different pieces of bone fragments from his face.\u201d Cosmo only found out Northcutt's injury when latter posted on Instagram. \u201dThe next day I heard that he had a long surgery. I hate that, man,\u201d Alexandre said. \u201cI\u2019m doing my job there, to go in there and win. I know we can get hurt, but nothing that serious. I was sad because that\u2019s his job, and I don\u2019t wish that to anyone.\u201d Northcutt didn't provide any update on how long he'd stay in the hospital and a timetable for a return to the cage.
