A Lesson in Street MMA: The Double Dragon Flying Kick is a valid move

There was a time on this planet when your personal self-worth was directly determined by the amount of quarters you needed to insert into an arcade to successfully beat it. Action side-scroller games flowed in the aisles of local supermarkets like liquid back in the mid-90s. It’s safe to say that if you’re a member of Generation Y, you truly haven’t lived until you’ve smashed a controller over the incredibly unfair gameplay instilled within every Double Dragon game. In the third installment of the franchise, the playing fields started to level as your character now had perhaps one of the cheapest moves in all of NES history. In Double Dragon III, players had the ability to jump directly onto a wall, and then spring off it like some severely bi-polar macaque monkey and jump kick your enemies directly in the forehead. Apparently the participant of this installment of Street MMA has attempted to mimic this notorious move — so it’s about time you check it out in the clip below.
