A Lesson in Street MMA: In Boston defend the takedown or get dropped on your head, KO’d

He dead? If you are going to roam the streets of Boston afterhours make sure you have takedown defense and remember you don’t touch other people’s cardboard boxes. In the world of Street MMA there is no Sherdog Fight Finder to research the record of your foe. Sometimes you can even start a fight with a guy that has done some mixed martial arts training in the past.

Not a good idea.

From last night in Boston we have the Street MMA equivalent of Frank Shamrock versus Igor Zinoviev at UFC 16. Look it up. Shamrock fought Zinoviev like the Russian was trying to mess with his U-Haul truck. You put down a nice little deposit on those trucks, you can’t let just anyone touch, slap, or yell profanity at them.

Dude in black shirt looks like he knows what he’s doing while shirtless guy has his hands down and provides his own hand clap sound to begin the round. The curse of “the shirtless guy” continues as this fight is over before it begins. The KO comes in under five seconds and a “pregnant birthing a mini-van” KO face is the result.
