Paige wants to be a Power Slap champ
Following her victory, VanZant took the opportunity to call for a bigger match. She urged Power Slap boss Dana White to do a title fight for the 125-pound division and make her the other half of the inaugural championship fight.
“Hey Dana, where’s that [125-pound] belt, baby? Put me on the next card. Let’s get some women’s belts. We’re here to stay. We’re here to knock bitches out and slap people all day,” VanZant said after her win.
As it stands, VanZant is now 2-0-1 in slap fighting. Her win over Brown was a good way to redeem herself after her last slap fight ended in a disappointing draw due to clubbing.
From the look of it, “12 Gauge” appears to be determined to achieve the zenith of success in slap fighting. It remains to be seen if White is also on the same page, though.
