Terence McKenna once said ‘If something can be told so as to be understood, it will be believed.’ Granted, McKenna also claimed he saw ‘self-transforming machine elves’ that appeared to be jeweled self-dribbling basketballs. The point I’m trying to make is if Orko from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is the holder of truth, then what does that make every other fictional character that came after him?
My god, just the name ‘Masters of the Universe’ incites the imagination. We may be a generation of kids misguided by corporate lies, but we had some bad ass cartoons growing up.
