Nico Carrillo turned his first ONE Championship kickboxing bout into a second-round knockout win over Zhou Jiaqiang at ONE Fight Night 46 in Bangkok.
Carrillo entered the match as the reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion and was moving into kickboxing in pursuit of another lane toward two-sport success. Zhou made the debut uncomfortable early, landing a right hand in the opening round and a front kick to the face in round two.
The finish came after Carrillo changed the rhythm of the fight. He hurt Zhou to the body, followed with a right hand, then kept punching as Zhou staggered around the ring. Zhou went down and could not beat the referee’s eight-count, ending the fight at 2:37 of round two.

Carrillo Moves To 30-4
The result lifted Carrillo to 30-4 and gave him an immediate highlight in ONE’s featherweight kickboxing division. The win also extends a strong 2026 run after Tawanchai vacated the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai title and Carrillo became undisputed champion.
ONE Fight Night 46 also produced several other current MiddleEasy result lanes. Stella Hemetsberger stopped Natalia Diachkova in round three to retain the ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai title, while Marcos Aurelio and Viet Anh Do scored MMA finishes earlier on the same card.
The event aired from Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, August 14, in U.S. primetime. ONE Championship’s official result also listed Kana Morimoto and Joao Souza Jr. among the kickboxing winners on the Bangkok card.
