Lorenzo Hunt made BKFC history in Naples on Saturday, stopping Walter Pugliesi by knockout at 1:09 of Round 4 to win the inaugural BKFC World Ironweight Title.
The BKFC 91 main event at Arena Flegrea in Naples, Italy, was not a clean walk-through. Hunt had to get up from a first-round knockdown before turning the fight back toward Pugliesi and finishing the previously unbeaten Italian in the fourth.

The win moved Hunt to 14-2 in bare knuckle fighting and made him the first fighter in BKFC history to hold world titles in three weight classes. Pugliesi dropped to 2-1 under the BKFC banner after entering the night unbeaten.
Hunt Adds A Third BKFC Belt
Hunt already had a deep BKFC title resume before the Italy trip. MiddleEasy covered his last title-level surge when he stopped David Mundell in Round 4 at KnuckleMania 6, and BKFC 91 gave him another fourth-round finish on a new international stage.
This one required a reset. Pugliesi put Hunt on the canvas early, which gave the sold-out Naples crowd a real opening to believe the first ironweight title might stay with the local fighter. Hunt survived that moment, steadied the pace, and finished before the championship rounds could tilt away from him.
The result also keeps Hunt near the center of BKFC’s bigger-name picture.
