Jay-Jay Wilson needed 37 seconds to wreck Darragh Kelly’s unbeaten run in the PFL Belfast main event.
Wilson cracked Kelly with a brutal left hand on Thursday night, handing the Irish lightweight the first loss of his professional career and killing the hometown momentum almost as soon as the fight began. Kelly entered at 9-0, but the unbeaten record did not survive the opening minute.
There was no slow start here. Kelly came forward, Wilson stayed composed, touched the body, and then landed the shot that ended the night. Once Kelly hit the floor, the follow-up punches removed any doubt.
Wilson gets his bounce-back in a hurry
The finish mattered beyond the highlight. Wilson was coming off a decision loss to Archie Colgan in his previous PFL appearance, so this was the kind of response he badly needed. He did not just win. He shut down an unbeaten main-event fighter in his own backyard.
Kelly had the home crowd, the undefeated record, and the setup for a breakout night. Wilson ripped straight through all of it with one clean punch. That left hand gave him the biggest moment on the card and handed Kelly the first real setback of his pro run.

For Wilson, it was a violent reset. For Kelly, it was a harsh first loss. Either way, PFL Belfast ended with Wilson stealing the whole show in less than a minute.
