Trailing after two tough rounds, Kasanganay landed a devastating right hand with 30 seconds left, dropping Sanchez face-first to the canvas. The referee stopped the fight at 4:31, handing Kasanganay a critical win at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Sanchez dominated the opening rounds with sharp jabs, low kicks, and takedowns, keeping Kasanganay on the back foot. His precise striking and clinch work neutralized Kasanganay’s power, putting him ahead on the scorecards. Kasanganay struggled to find his rhythm, facing the threat of a third straight loss.
In the third round, Sanchez kept up his pressure, but Kasanganay stayed composed. With time running out, he landed a clean right hand that floored Sanchez. Kasanganay followed with a flurry of punches, forcing the referee to intervene. The TKO ended his two-fight skid and showcased his resilience.

Impa Kasanganay began MMA in 2016, going 5-0 before joining the UFC in 2020. His UFC record was 2-2, including a viral spinning heel kick knockout loss to Joaquin Buckley at UFC Fight Island 5 on October 11, 2020. Released in 2021 after a loss to Carlston Harris, he went 1-1 regionally before signing with PFL in 2023. Kasanganay won the PFL light heavyweight title in 2023 against Josh Silveira but lost in the 2024 finals to Dovlet Yagshimuradov. He also lost to Fabian Edwards via second-round TKO at PFL 3 on April 4, 2025. His PFL record is 6-2, with wins over Alex Polizzi (2024) and Silveira (2024). His overall record is 19-6.
Born April 8, 1988, in Shiloh, Illinois, Andrew Sanchez started MMA in 2010, going 7-2 before winning The Ultimate Fighter 23 in 2016. His UFC record was 6-5, with victories over Khalil Rountree Jr. and Makhmud Muradov. Released in 2021, he joined PFL, where his record is 1-2, including a 2023 split decision win over Taylor Johnson. He lost to Sadibou Sy via unanimous decision in the 2024 PFL regular season on June 21, 2024, before falling to Kasanganay, dropping his record to 14-9.
