Fabian Edwards landed a jaw-dropping head kick knockout against Dalton Rosta to win the PFL Middleweight Tournament title at PFL 10 on August 21, 2025, in Hollywood, Florida. The third-round stoppage at 1:28 earned Edwards the $500,000 prize and cemented his place as a top middleweight. The win echoed his brother Leon Edwards’ iconic UFC title-winning head kick.
Round One
Rosta came out aggressive, using his wrestling to push Edwards against the cage early. He landed a takedown within the first minute, controlling Edwards on the ground for nearly two minutes. Edwards scrambled back to his feet, landing a sharp jab and a low kick. Rosta answered with a heavy right hand, but Edwards’ movement kept him safe. The round ended with Rosta leading in control time.
Round Two
Edwards found his rhythm, keeping the fight standing with crisp footwork. He landed a clean one-two combination and a body kick, while Rosta struggled to close the distance. Rosta shot for a takedown midway through, but Edwards stuffed it and landed a knee to the body. Edwards’ counters frustrated Rosta, who ate a stiff left hook late in the round. Edwards edged out the striking exchanges.
Round Three
Rosta pressed forward, landing a solid right hand, but Edwards stayed composed. At 1:28, Edwards threw a high kick that caught Rosta flush on the jaw, dropping him instantly. Edwards followed with ground strikes, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

Edwards earned his final spot with a second-round TKO over Impa Kasanganay at PFL 3 on April 18, 2025, and a unanimous decision over Joshua Silveira on June 28, 2025. Rosta advanced by avenging his only loss with a split decision over Aaron Jeffery in the semifinals. Edwards’ striking precision proved the difference in the final.
