Jake Paul is going to the Olympics.
‘The Problem Child’ is tired of seeing the United States leave the Summer Games without a gold medal in boxing. To remedy that, he’ll be entering the 34th Olympiad when the multi-sports event descends upon Los Angeles in 2028.
“I’m going to enter the 2028 Olympics for boxing in Los Angeles,” he revealed on his BS w/ Jake Paul podcast. “I’m sick and tired of waiting for another gold medal for Team USA. I’m not retiring. I probably just added a couple of years onto my boxing career because of that. Gold medal, you’re mine brother.”

If Paul accomplishes his goal, it would put him in pretty good company alongside former Olympic gold medalists Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, George Foreman, Leon Spinks Joe Frazier, Oscar De La Hoya, and ‘GWOAT’ Claressa Shields.
But first, the YouTube star will have to get past one of the most feared boxers of all time.
On Friday, November 15, Paul will meet legendary pugilist ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson inside the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Before that, the two warriors will go face-to-face during a special pre-fight press conference on Sunday, August 18 at the inaugural Fanatics Fest inside Javits Center in New York City.
Chael Sonnen Fully Supports Jake Paul and his Dream of Competing at the 2028 Games
Jake Paul’s bid for the 2028 already has one supporter—three-time UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen.
Reacting to Paul’s declaration on social media, ‘The American Gangster’ offered to do anything he could to help support ‘El Gallo’ and his dreams of Olympic glory.
“I will do anything I can to support this idea and help to make it happen,” Sonnen wrote on X.

Hopefully, Tommy Fury doesn’t decide to enter the Olympics too.
