Yod-IQ Says PK Team Is Pushing Him To Bring ONE Belt Home Against Rambolek

Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri says his family, Tawanchai, Prajanchai, and PK Saenchai have all carried him toward his ONE title shot.

Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri is not treating his ONE title shot as a solo mission. The 24-year-old Thai striker challenges Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai belt at The Inner Circle 30 on September 11, and ONE Championship published a full breakdown Wednesday of the family and PK Saenchai team that helped push him to Lumpinee Stadium.

The fight already had heat because Rambolek wants a finish in his first defense against Yod-IQ. Now the challenger has put his side of the story on the table. Yod-IQ is riding a 10-fight winning streak, owns a 127-36 striking record, and enters with a 12-1 run in ONE after beating Kiamran Nabati.

ONE kept the title fight visible through its official social channels as fight week moved toward the Bangkok main event.

Yod-IQ Credits His Parents And PK Saenchai

Yod-IQ said the road began in Buriram Province, where his parents handled the grind long before the champion-level gym names entered the picture.

My parents took care of me so well since I was a kid. They did so much — riding nearly 30 to 40 kilometers round-trip every day just to drop me off for training. I had to do that daily while balancing high school in Grade 12, but we pushed through it.

During those long rides, my parents supervised my training because the gym owner wasn’t there. My parents drove everything. They were the ones who pushed me to join PK [Saenchai Muaythaigym]. I’m so proud of myself and so grateful for their incredible support, which brought me to where I am today.

The current camp sounds like a full-room effort. Yod-IQ said Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK are both involved while he prepares for a champion whose power was already central to the Rambolek vs. Yod-IQ Inner Circle 30 lineup.

For this camp, I’ve been hitting pads with two trainers: Ajarn Chanwit and Trainer Somwang, who also train Tawanchai. They stepped in to help with my conditioning. As for tactics and counters, Sia Khaek, Tawanchai, and Prajanchai are overseeing everything and giving me personal tips.

The whole team at PK is pushing me to the absolute max. The sports science coach is giving me everything he’s got. Things I’ve never done before, I have to do now, because this is the ultimate fight of my life. Everyone wants me to win and bring the belt back to PK.

That is a heavy group to have in the room. Tawanchai has already touched ONE gold, Prajanchai knows the same pressure, and Yod-IQ is trying to turn that championship knowledge into the biggest win of his career.

Tawanchai Set The Standard For The Challenger

Yod-IQ said Tawanchai told him years ago to follow the same championship path. That message is now staring him in the face with Rambolek across from him.

I feel just like Tawanchai did back then. I remember him telling me that he was going to become a champion and that I had to follow in his footsteps. Now the day has come for me to catch up to him.

Having seen how he trained and knowing how exhausted he got, I knew I had to face the same path. Now I understand just how tiring it is to fight for a title. Reaching this point, I’m determined to grab it — I won’t let it slip away. I’m just one step away, and I’ll give it everything I’ve got.

The bout sits in a loaded week for ONE striking, with Yodlekpet vs. Pompet 3 also topping ONE Friday Fights 170 and Sangarthit returning in small gloves at The Inner Circle 30. Yod-IQ has the bigger prize in front of him, though. If he beats Rambolek, PK Saenchai brings home another belt and the challenger jumps from dangerous contender to champion in one night.
