Komawut FA Group said he planned to go all-out against Kyaw Swar Win in the bantamweight Muay Thai co-main event at The Inner Circle 27 on August 21 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
ONE Championship published Komawut’s full pre-fight statement and official event media. The promotion’s post is embedded below.
Komawut Details His Plan For Kyaw Swar Win
“For this fight, my trainers worked on building my stamina so I can maintain a high pace in the ring for longer. Lately, I was gassing out easily, which went hand-in-hand with my fading confidence. Plus, my opponent Kyaw Swar Win is extremely tough, so I really have to stay focused and keep my composure throughout the fight.”
“I’m confident I’m strong enough to stand toe-to-toe with him for all three rounds, but I’m looking to finish it early. I’m ready to meet his power with power. I’ll let him get comfortable, wait for him to leave an opening, and then land a sharp, decisive counter strike. I don’t want to let the fight drag out because that could work against me and open the door for unexpected mistakes. I’m going all-out with everything I’ve got.”
“Kyaw Swar Win’s biggest strength is his durability. He can march forward and push the pace for all three rounds. On top of his durability, he has dangerous weapons like elbows and heavy punches, and he can press forward the entire fight. I definitely view him as the ideal fight to rebuild my confidence because he has a massive fanbase. If I can beat him, it’ll feel like I’ll be fully able to reclaim my form.”
“To all my fans, I’ve trained extremely hard and prepared everything for this fight. I am fully determined to get back in the win column, and I definitely won’t let it become six losses in a row. Please send your support and cheer for me.”
