Bones knows science? That’s our Heel GOAT AKA Jon Jones. We’ve all been here before. Jon Jones is back in rehab. Not to rehab his love of drugs or alcohol but to try to attempt to reshape his public persona; again.
Why is he even bothering at this point? We don’t know. Just embrace the hate Bones. Be the asshole we all know you are. Instead someone from his team or the UFC thinks its a good idea to try and make Jon look like a good guy.
He’s not a good guy and that’s okay. Who cares if our favorite fighters are good human beings when they’re not on the clock. Does helping out the homeless on a Tuesday morning make a fighter more exciting on Saturday night? If Jon Jones was helping old ladies cross the street, instead of trying to bang college co-eds would he be more popular with fans? Make him a better fighter?
While promoting his latest comeback fight at UFC 232, Bones Jones was pressed (a little) about his last steroid suspension. Jones gave a canned answer but it was just a weird way to put it. Bones talked about a pinch a salt in a pool, researching science, and actually defended USADA (LOL).
Then Jones brought up disgraced US cyclist Lance Armstrong in the completely wrong context and the interview jumped the rails.
Here is some of the interaction between Max Kellerman and Jon Jones (@JonnyBones) on First Take this morning, which Jones just referenced on his Twitter account. pic.twitter.com/OQLGdwGXvP

Sure Jon, compare yourself to one of the biggest, longest drug cheats in modern American sports. At this point Jones just needs to own up to being a douche bag and talk up how he beat the system.
“I cheated before and will cheat again and there is nothing anyone can do to stop me.” – this should be Bones’ promo for UFC 232 and then he should conclude it with The Million Dollar Man laugh.
