Happy Holidays. The Sunday Morning Rumor Mill does not get a four day weekend and that’s okay.

2018 has been a crazy year for the sport of human cage fighting. Who knew? How can 2019 top 2018? That’s the great thing about our MMA, just when you think they are done doing weird stuff, they completely redeem themselves.

As always these are rumors that have been talked about behind closed doors between MMA higher ups, so take them as MMA rumors.

  • Word is going around that the UFC is thinking about reducing the number of pay-per-views they have per a year. This rumor may not go into affect until 2020. Part of this is due to the UFC still figuring out how everything will work with ESPN.
  • Rumor is the UFC’s new fight week meal service plan has been a long time coming. To surprise of no one, the UFC gets a nice cut if fighters opt into the service.
  • Rumor killer but not sport killer, talk of Jon Jones having a training camp injury before UFC 232 look to be false.
  • For Ronda Rousey rumors are her next title defense will likely come versus Charlotte Flair at the 2019 Royal Rumble.
