On one hand UFC 228 was a spectacular night of fights. On the other hand, the card wasn’t garbage  on paper but in no way did it deserve your hard earned $64.99.

MMA may have to adapt or parish moving forward. It’s 2018 and the entertainment and sport’s landscape is changing. The UFC asks their fan base to shell out $65.00 bucks a month and its kind of crazy.

As always these are rumors that have been talked about behind closed doors between MMA higher ups, so take them as MMA rumors.

  • Despite never getting a big push from the UFC, the tide may turning for Tyron Woodley. Rumor is Woodley is now back in the running to get the coveted GSP super-fight in 2019.
  • Now that the UFC’s women flyweight title is vacant, a few names have started to pop up to chase the belt. Valentina Shevchenko’s spot is set. Rumor is Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Roxanne Modafferi and TBD bantamweight moving down are the leading contenders for a flyweight title fight.
  • Rumor is that the Brock Lesnar versus Daniel Cormier have not signed a contract for their title fight yet. Despite not having a contract in place, Lesnar is rumored to be already training for the fight.
  • Despite making 170 there have been rumors Darren Till may move up in weight for his next fight.
