Four Horsewomen debut, Brock Lesnar’s contract and more in the Sunday Morning Rumor Mill

For those of you who like to keep their mixed martial arts and pro wrestling separate? This is not a good week or Sunday Morning Rumor Mill for you. Also, your head is completely in the sand.

MMA has always been pro wrestling. The no holds barred sport inside the cage is at its best when the lines between MMA and its cousin pro wrestling lines blur. A small but very vocal minority want MMA to be a pure sport but unless you want to human cage fighting die off then you need it to continue to copy off pro wrestling’s homework.

As always these are rumors that have been talked about behind closed doors between MMA higher ups, so take them as MMA rumors.

Spread love its the Brooklyn way but always spread MMA rumors, its the Sunday Morning Rumor Mill way.

  • Huge if true but their is more talk of Brock Lesnar, the WWE and the UFC working closer together than ever before. Win or lose tonight at SummerSlam, Lesnar’s two sport future may already be set.
  • Expect MMA’s Four Horsewomen of Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir to begin to make waves in the WWE. A WWE angle involving all four women may happen sooner than anticipated.
  • Despite rumors to the contrary. it looks like Georges St. Pierre is in talks about one more MMA fight. When and where GSP returns is all up to money at this point.
  • Rumors are both Rizin and ONE Championship are now entering a talent bidding war. The two Asia based MMA promos keep butting heads on the same fighters and something may give soon.
  • UFC 229 not officially a sell out in Las Vegas yet and rumors are it may be due to the high price point.
