As always these are rumors that have been talked about behind closed doors between MMA higher ups, so take them as MMA rumors.

  • Confirming rumors from earlier in the month, Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson 2 is the new fight the UFC wants to make. Talks point to Bones vs. Gus the sequel happening before the end of 2018.
  • With a big win last night at RIZIN 13, rumors about Cro Cop to Bellator are heating up. Wanting to fight on New Year’s Eve, Scott Coker may make a run at Cro Cop in early 2019.
  • Huge if true, but rumors are that Vitor Belfort and Bellator have a mutual interest in working together.
  • Talks are picking up that RIZIN may try to make Tenshin Nasukawa versus Kyoji Horiguchi  2 under some sort of modified MMA rules.
  • Rumor is there are growing concerns inside the UFC that Nate Diaz may not make it to UFC 230. On the off chance Diaz pulls out, the UFC is already looking into a back-up plan.
