Simon Phoenix laid down the look in Demolition Man nearly two decades ago and tonight, Melvin Guillard has made the entire Demolition Man franchise proud. Actually, we all should give it up to Kevin Randleman. He was like pioneer of the Simon Phoenix look, Melvin Guillard is just an modified clone. The Young Assassin strikes again and has rebounded after his Nate Diaz fight a few months ago. Dude got a convincing unanimous decision win over Ronnys Torres and not even a bucket of friggin ice could prevent Melvin from claiming another W.
A win for Melvin is a win for Simon Phoenix and just legitimatizes the need for the Demolition Man franchise to be remade…without using Shia LaBeouf as a semi-comedic role. Please, we don’t need another film ruined by that guy. Alright, he’s probably a good dude…but just keep them the hell out of Demolition Man. Props to Melvin on his win.
