You know it’s serious when Japan starts making UFC highlight reels

Gomi holds the record for the fastest knockout in Pride FC. It took only six seconds to KO Ralph Gracie with a knee, which pretty much ended Ralph’s career. He was the Shooto welterweight champion and held the title for two years. After he apparently grew weary of holding onto Shooto bling, he decided to drop weight and go for the Pride FC lightweight belt which only took him 3:56 and one punch to KO Sakurai. Even though Pride is six feet under, Gomi still holds the Pride FC belt (which he probably places alongside all the necks he collected in his career). Now that Takanori Gomi is slated to face Clay Guida at UFC 125, Japan has hopped in the YouTube highlight reel realm, and they’ve done a pretty good job. [Source]
