Yonis Anane has his next assignment, and ONE Championship is not easing the teenager back into the pool. The French-Thai strawweight meets Ricardo Sanchez at ONE Friday Fights 170 on Sept. 11 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, with the matchup landing during another busy stretch for the promotion after Superlek’s ONE 168 knockout and a recent run of Rodtang’s ONE 172 return.
ONE added three Muay Thai bouts to the Sept. 11 card. Anane vs. Sanchez sits at strawweight, Kongchai Chanaidonmueang meets Ayad Albadr in another strawweight Muay Thai fight, and Yodlekpet Or Atchariya faces Mohamed Taoufyq at flyweight. That is a lot of hard kicking for one Friday morning if you are watching from the West Coast and pretending coffee is a fight-week supplement.
Anane is still only 19, which is mildly ridiculous when you remember he already owns a 48-10 career record and once became the youngest WBC Muay Thai World Champion. He is also the younger brother of former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai champion ONE’s Muay Thai lane, so the family business is apparently kicking people very hard under bright lights.
He has three ONE wins, but back-to-back losses have put a little turbulence into the hype train. That makes Sanchez a nasty re-entry point. The 19-year-old Mexican is 11-1, made his ONE debut in April 2026, won by TKO in kickboxing, then picked up a Muay Thai victory in June. In other words, Sanchez is not coming in as a warm body. He is coming in as the young guy trying to snatch someone else’s shine.

ONE Friday Fights 170 Keeps The Teen Violence Theme Rolling
The second strawweight bout brings Kongchai back into the picture against Albadr. Kongchai is 23, represents Tor Sangtiennoi, and carries a 78-16 striking record with a 12-6 promotional mark. More importantly, he is riding a four-fight winning streak, which matters in a system where one hot run can turn Lumpinee chaos into a six-figure contract chase.
Albadr has dragged himself into the same conversation the hard way. The 24-year-old Iraqi fighter, who trains under Team Mehdi Zatout, lost two bouts after his ONE debut before ripping off five straight wins. He is now 5-2 in ONE and 19-6 overall, so this is not just a showcase for Kongchai. It is a proper momentum check.
Yodlekpet and Taoufyq round out the announced trio with the most veteran-heavy fight of the batch. Yodlekpet is 31, fights out of TDed99, and has stacked up more than 130 career fights with 94 wins and four Muay Thai world titles. He enters on a three-fight winning streak, which is a polite way of saying the old hand is still very much in the business of ruining nights.
Taoufyq, 21, represents Elamghari Muaythai Team and Sathian MuayThai out of Morocco. He is 18-6 as a striker and has three ONE wins, including a second-round knockout in his most recent outing. That gives the flyweight bout a clean old-pressure vs. young-fire feel, which is usually how Lumpinee cards get weird in the best way.
ONE Friday Fights 170 now has another chunk of its Sept. 11 lineup in place, and the card fits the promotion’s current rhythm. Put young prospects, streaking veterans and dangerous regional strikers in the same building, let them swing for contracts, and see who is still standing when the smoke clears. Recent ONE striking matchmaking has followed that same hungry-lion formula, and this one looks built for more of the same.
