Ten weeks ago, Jon Jones took a photograph with Charlie Sheen. They appear friendly, posing with coordinated crossed arms, and even wearing similar watches. But while a picture may potentially speak a thousand words, the nature of their connection is speculative. There is no telling, for instance, whether the two spent an entire evening together, or whether they passed briefly during solitary winter strolls, taking in the holiday lights. In fact, it appears to be the only Internet evidence that the two have ever interacted.
Be that as it may, some inflammatory fans will no doubt speculate that the men had a profound influence on each other. That’s not surprising, of course, given how unfair people can be, and how tempting it is to conjure up these imaginary controversies. Yes, Sheen overdosed by injecting cocaine in 1998. And sure, he admitted that he drank and used cocaine during a 2010 incident at the Plaza Hotel when he caused $7,000.00 in damage. So what? Was Sheen accused of using cocaine daily in 2012? Alright, it appears he was. But jumping to conclusions in this case is immature, to say the least.
