Thiago Santos and Yana Kunitskaya have just been blessed with a baby girl. The couple welcomed baby Alisa Santos and gladly broke the news on social media.
A special day for the UFC couple
Kunitskaya successfully gave birth to Alisa on Monday, April 25 and the excited couple did not shy away from sharing the special moment with their Instagram followers.
The Russian female UFC fighter posted a series of photos of her newborn baby, including one in which Thiago Santos was seen genuinely smiling and holding the scissors he probably used to cut their baby’s umbilical cord.
Stop the hate once and for all
While Kunitskaya has been surely receiving several positive messages right at this very moment, let’s not forget how people used to criticized her and the UFC over her pregnancy.
It can be recalled that “Foxy” announced her pregnancy in mid-August, just about over a month after her last UFC fight. As expected, some may have done the math by their own and assumed that Kunitskaya indeed stepped inside the octagon and received an array of hard blows while already pregnant.
After constantly receiving “hate” comments about the sensitive matter, Kunitskaya figured that enough is enough. She decided to post a photo of her taken “10 months ago” earlier this month to prove that she’s not yet confirmed pregnant when she fought in July.
“I got so much hate when I announced my pregnancy, everyone was sure that I fought pregnant,” Kunitskaya wrote on Instagram. “Here is photo 10 months ago and today ( still carrying my baby girl) For all this [clowns] who knows my body better than me.”
Whatever people think and say about Kunitskaya’s pregnancy, one thing certain at this point is that she and Thiago are enjoying every bit of moment with baby Alisa.
