Yair Rodriguez Almost Hits Michael Bisping Following No Contest
UFC Mexico City’s main event between Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens did not go as planned. In the aftermath, you can see Yair, understandably quite upset.
Over the weekend, the UFC went to Mexico City, to showcase one of it’s up and coming Mexican stars, Yair Rodriguez. This was his first fight since the epic knockout over The Korean Zombie, and it was happening in front of a home crowd. Subsequently, fans were very excited to see him fight, and bought their tickets accordingly.
However, in a surprising turn of events, the fight would end quickly, with a no contest. Early into the first round, Rodriguez tried to throw a kick, but ended up poking Stephens in the eye. Stephens was unable to continue, or even open his eye, after his allotted 5 minutes. As a result, the bout ended, and was ruled a no contest.
Following this decision, the arena erupted in anger, raining down boos, along with chucking drinks and trash towards the cage. However, Yair Rodriguez was also upset, either at the fact the bout was over, or that it was not ruled in his favor. Either way, in this video from Twitter, you can see his reaction of anger, even nearly hitting UFC commentator Michael Bisping.

Michael Bisping was clearly not fazed by this thrashing. In fact, to be completely honest, Yair Rodriguez looks similar to a child fueled by the anger of being sent to his room.
Nevertheless, his frustration is understandable, as both men were there to fight. Perhaps the bout gets ran back, and things will be different. Though it would not be surprising if it was a long time before the UFC was back in Mexico City.

Bisping should have smacked his face, I would have. He would have snapped back to reality REAL quick
