Sometimes we forget in our digital age that there is a whole, physical world out there to walk in. If people want the “word from the street”, usually they just hit up Twitter. Not Chris Hollis though, he put the feet to the pavement and asked perfect strangers who they thought would win between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Too bad Street Teams don’t exist anymore, because he’s doing the UFC’s work for them.
Some people didn’t even know who the guys were, some people chose simply based on the menacing stare on a promo picture that Hollis had with him. What’s going on Austin, Texas? Isn’t Onnit headquarters there? You guys should be hip to the MMA jive.
Either way, if you ended up picking McGregor you were awarded with fake cash. If you were lucky enough to pick Diaz, you were slipped a (fake?) joint. Well played, Hollis, well played indeed.
