Sit back and let me set up this piece of KO brilliance. Better yet, stand up — the average human sits down far too much in their life. It would be amazing if scientists could quantify the phenomena of ‘spinning sh*t’ in MMA and use the kinetic energy to fuel a third-world country. Better yet, put all of the world’s spinning sh*t in a giant turbine and place it under Los Angeles to transform it into Columbia from Bioshock Infinite. If you don’t get that reference then you’ve obviously missed out on playing the game of the year.

First we saw it when Emanuel Newton scored that blazing spinning back fist in the Bellator light heavyweight tournament to give King Mo the second loss in his career. It was stunning, and yet another reminder that fighters should always keep their hands up. Now we have Justin Buchholz and his stunning back fist KO over Gordon Bell last weekend at Showdown Fights 11 in Orem, Utah. 2013 is the year of the spinning back fist of doom, folks.
