On Dec. 28, 2026 – Prague, Czech Republic OKTAGON double champion Will Fleury delivered a stunning performance in the main event of OKTAGON 81, defeating former UFC heavyweight Martin Buday in just 1 minute and 55 seconds inside the O2 Arena.
Buday, who had been released from the UFC earlier this year despite a win over Marcus Buchecha at UFC Abu Dhabi, entered the cage with momentum and a solid record: 5-0 in OKTAGON and 7-1 during his UFC run, including a top-12 ranking in the heavyweight division.
From the opening seconds, Fleury showcased superior footwork, timing, and striking precision. The Irish fighter wasted no time, controlling distance, landing sharp combinations, and overwhelming Buday, leaving the referee no choice but to stop the fight before the two-minute mark.

Fleury, now on a nine-fight winning streak in OKTAGON, first claimed the Light Heavyweight title by defeating longtime OKTAGON fixture Karlos Vemola. He then captured the Heavyweight belt with a victory over Lazar Todev, becoming one of the few fighters to hold titles in two divisions simultaneously.
Fans are already speculating that Fleury may face Daniel Skvor next, who has finished his last four opponents since their initial meeting during Fleury’s OKTAGON debut.
