Dana White Talks About How Big This PPV Event Could Be

Dana White has gone on record saying that he would be more than happy to promote a celebrity fight between Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise. Now, he talks about just how big that event could be.

Justin Bieber called for a fight with Tom Cruise, via Twitter recently. In that tweet, he tagged UFC President Dana White, to see if he would promote the fight. Additionally, this caught the attention of people in, and out of the MMA space.

White was very candid about being interested in promoting the fight. He said that he received calls from important people who want to see the fight happen. White also alluded to the idea that the bout very well could come together.

Recently, White opened up more about the prospect of the bout happening. He was a guest speaker at Hashtag Sports 2019. At this event, during a Q & A, he was immediately asked about putting together this match. (via MMAJunkie)

“I should have known this was going to be the first question. Listen, if I can make that fight, I’d be all over that fight. It’d be the biggest pay-per-view in the history of pay-per-view.”

White was then asked if the reports of him speaking with important people were true.

It is true. As crazy as that sounds, that is true. … I don’t want to use any names, but I was at home on a Sunday, and I got a call with two big guys on the phone. They were telling me this could possibly happen and this could be real. I’m like, there’s no way that this is really going to happen. But if it does, call me back. I’m in.”
