When asked if one-armed fighters could compete in the UFC, Dana White says ‘never say never’

I’ve never met a one-armed fighter but I’m fairly certain one can kick my ass since it involves the use of legs and not arms. In Las Vegas, slot machines are usually referred to as ‘one-armed bandits’ due to the single lever at the side of the machine and the tendency to take all the money away from its operators. In the television series ‘The Fugitive,’ the protagonist is wrongly convicted of killing his wife and escapes prison to find her real killer, which is a one-armed man. Based on that example and Nick Newell destroying his opponent last weekend at XFC, all one-armed people are a very violent bunch. I’m never inviting a one-armed person to my bake sale. Jokes on you one-armed person, I’m never having a bake sale.

Judging by what we witnessed inside the XFC cage, Nick Newell is a legit fighter that has made going 8-0 in his professional MMA career appear effortless.
