Dan Henderson has won a UFC tournament, was a Pride champ in multiple weight classes, won the Strikeforce LHW title, moved up in weight to 207 to take on Fedor then knocked him out, put on one of the greatest fights of all time against Shogun and blessed the world with the omnipresent Bisping KO.
If the dude isn’t the GOAT he’s on the very, very short list.
Dana White understands this, and even though he and Hendo haven’t been the best of friends over the years, Dana respects the hell out of what Hendo has been able to do throughout his storied career. That’s why Hendo is chillin, waiting for a shot at the UFC middleweight title or the light heavyweight title. Whichever comes first.
