Werdum may have his capoiera, but Cain Velasquez has some fresh B-boy moves

Maybe wrestling isn’t the best base for MMA? Maybe it’s dancing. I mean, we’ve seen Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture, both UFC Hall of Fame fighters go on to relatively successful post-fight careers on the dance floor, so who’s to say the superior hip movement and upper body strength displayed by Cain in the .gif below haven’t directly translated to his path of destruction in the UFC? Even Nick Diaz knows what’s up.

I think it has. In fact, it’s probably the exact reason why he’s doing so well. Think about it – as a young man growing up, Cain felt at ease on the mats, but like many youngsters, the pressure was on once he hit the dance floor. That’s when he knew it was time to get over his fears and let loose. He’s embraced these lessons inside an 8-sided cage, and now he has the perfect way to start every fight.

Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
