WEC 43 has been postponed

Ever since Affliction Trilogy, the entire MMA community will forever be on a ‘Oh no, not this again’ alert whenever news come down that an event has been canceled. We don’t want to see the demise of another organization and I don’t want to lose a pocket full of money making arrangements to an event that has been abruptly canceled (yeah, I’m still bitter). WEC is under the guiding light of the friggin Mastadons at ZUFFA so fans have nothing to worry about…hopefully. This story broke late last night in a literally newsgasm of rumors being spread about this event. Whenever you’re caught in a newsgasm, it’s best to use protection. We learned our lesson with the entire Kimo thing and ‘Fedor in the UFC’ nonsense.

This time around, Ben Henderson was not caught using anabolic steroids. Dude just got injured and instead of WEC trying to find a suitable replacement, they postponed the event until Henderson gets healthy (which is what we wished every organization would do). The tentative date is October 10th and it will probably be at the same location. Ben Henderson goes by the nickname ‘Smooth’ but for accuracy purposes, we’re renaming him Baby-Hendo. Our interviewer, D**k ‘Starscream’ Grayson has been called ‘Smooth’ since he was nine. If someone’s first name was ‘Smooth’ and their last name begun with an ‘E’, I would throw a brick at them if they didn’t open up a Smoothie shop. [Source]
