So you’ve made it to Friday and have just about completed your week-long marathon. Congratulations, now enter our ‘Create your own fighting style’ contest before something bad happens to you. We’re giving away loads of free stuff including a rare NES top-loader console, UFC Undisputed 2009, free MMA gear, supplements, shirts and other stuff I probably forgot to mention. The contest ends December 16th so act moderately fast and you can get your hands on a prize.
The contest is simple, you leave a comment on this page with your own fighting style and the greatest and most innovative fighting style will win one of the three prize packages. Entries must be submitted with ‘Fighting Style’ as the prefix and your ‘style’ must follow.
And we finally have new ‘weekly’ MMA polls. The polls aren’t necessarily weekly but we’re dedicated to the name, sort of like a father dedicated to push his kid in little league football when all he really wanted to do was play on his 286 computer (screw my childhood). Last week we asked ‘If Fedor isn’t the greatest of all time, who is?‘. 41.9% of you said Anderson Silva would be the best. Coming in a distant second place was GSP with 16.7%. BJ Penn placed last with only 7.3% of the vote. Next question we posed was ‘How many BJ Penn vs. GSPs will we see?‘, 51.4% of you say it’s over with while 33% of you say it will go to a third bout. Apparently 9.4% say it will go to seven and only 6.1% say it will go four. Finally we asked ‘Which superhero ability would be most beneficial in MMA?‘. No surprise here, 56.3% of you say Fedor’s overhand right is the only superhero ability you need in MMA. Super Strength comes in a very distant second with 14.8% and Invisibility came in third with 14.1%.
A new Friday means new MMA polls so here are the questions for this week:
Who will be on the cover of UFC Undisputed 2010?
Which fighter would need the LEAST make-up to be an Orc in Lord of the Rings?
Who is the most intimidating looking fighter in MMA?
You know what to do, vote often and irresponsibly on the right side of the page and don’t forget to enter our ‘Create your own fighting style’ contest.
