We asked Mark Pavelich why everyone should watch MFC 28, and here’s what he said…

Originally I wanted to publish this yesterday, but I was a little distracted by some shiny thing reflecting off my window. When you have the attention span of a warm jar of mayonnaise, that tends to happen pretty often. Last year, Mark Pavelich sent an email asking me to follow him on Twitter. I told him I would, but only if he would follow me. He never responded, but I still decided to follow him because I’m a good person and don’t abduct cats at night. I’m not implying Mark Pavelich abducts cats, he probably doesn’t. I’m just telling you I don’t abduct cats too. However, Mark Pavelich drinks Good4U, which denotes that we have something in common.

Yesterday we asked Mark Pavelich to tell us why we should watch MFC 28 this Friday airing exclusively on HDNet. We gave him a minute, but he only needed thirty seconds since Canadians are far more efficient than Americans.

“Because you’re going to see for the first time ever in my organization’s ten year history, we have two of our own fighters [Ryan Jimmo vs. Canada Dwayne Lewis] fighting for the championship, which means through every title fight I’ve had in the past, this will be the most electrifying one because Dwayne Lewis started in this organization, Ryan Jimmo started in my organization and now they are fighting for our light heavyweight title which will be the first time in our history!”

Love him or hate him, the guy puts on some really good events on HDNet. MFC is the premiere organization for Canadian MMA and if you think differently, Pavelich will probably press release how much he hates you.
