My only disappointment with Mount Rushmore is that Bas Rutten’s face will never be engraved in limestone next to everyone else. It doesn’t matter that Bas Rutten wasn’t born in America. Neither was my friend Jason Shalansky and he photoshopped his stupid head onto the monument. I spent all morning trying to find the image, but just imagine the worst photoshop job in the history of modern computer technology combined with a dude that looks like his face gave birth to Rawhead Rex.
A large majority of the time on MiddleEasy, I’ll insist you guys watch a video without actually viewing the piece myself. Usually this happens when I’m preoccupied with crafting my imaginary Minecraft world or contemplating how Scientology plans to destroy Katie Holmes. However in this scenario, I’ve already completed the first of this three-part series of Bas Rutten watching every fight in his legendary MMA career while commentating on each bout. We know it’s exciting, but you might want to go to the bathroom to clean that string of drool that just appeared. It’s pretty nasty, and if your neighbor sees you with it dripping from your mouth they’ll think you’re some maniac. Let me correct that, they’ll have even more reason to believe that you’re a maniac.
