UFC is returning to business later tonight (Sat., Oct. 5, 2019) to stage the UFC 243 ‘Whittaker vs. Adesanya’ MMA event from inside the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

In the main headliner division’s champion, Robert Whittaker will look to defend his crown against 185-pound interim champ Israel Adesanya in a title unification bout.

Whittaker won all eight fights since moving up to middleweight four years ago and still pose a legit threat to rising star Adesanya.

‘Stylebender’ is full of confidence and ready to make history currently undefeated in his MMA career and winning all six UFC bouts.

Meanwhile, in the co-headlining act, top, lightweight contenders Al Iaquinta and Dan Hooker will battle.

The main card also includes an intriguing heavyweight bout between Sergey Spivak and Tai Tuivasa.

Preliminary bouts will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass, the leftover ‘prelims’ airs on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET, then pay-per-view (PPV) main card starts at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
