Cathal Pendred is Conor McGregor’s teammate, and last weekend at Cage Warriors 55 he punched Che Mills into submission (actually the ref waved it off) to extend his unbeaten streak to 8 fights. Which is all you really need to know to love the guy, but it gets better. After his win, he got on the Cage Warriors mic and basically demanded that he join the United Kingdom’s* minor invasion of the UFC. Specifically, he wants to fight this August in Boston.
We obviously don’t know if he’ll be landing like a potato in the Irish stew known as the Octagon in Boston this August, but if he does, you’ll have watched this fantastic documentary by our friend Demetrio Marquez and be intimately familiar with the welterweight Irishman. So go ahead and watch, then you can spout off some random knowledge about Cathal to your buds that they’ll acknowledge with an upward nod of their head, and you’ll feel better about yourself because you impressed them.
