In competitive eating, a person’s size often does nothing to indicate who will down the most hot dogs in a twelve-minute span, but in MMA there’s often an indirect relationship between muscle-mass and the size of a fighter’s gas tank. The more muscle you put on, the more oxygen your body requires to keep you moving.
