There’s nothing convenient about being tackled at a convenience store by a burly dude wearing an American flag for a shirt. Unless getting knocked nearly unconscious was your goal when you woke up that morning, I simply can’t see how the name of the store fits in with this ex-con getting body slammed on July 4th.
The background to this nutty video is an ex-con walked into a small Ohio store and asked to use the phone. Workers at the place noticed that he looked awfully familiar to a wanted man in the area that recently escaped prison. After the ex-con used the phone, he brought an ice tea to the counter — the same counter in which his mug shot was being displayed on a wanted sign. A customer in the store, the guy wearing the Hacksaw Jim Duggan costume, tackled the ex-con and held him there until police arrived. I give that takedown 7.5/10, solely for sheer force of it.
