MMA is a strange mistress. You often find that the people who run the business simply don’t know how to properly make a highlight, make a teaser, or use their own footage to get you excited. The best stuff is often done by people who aren’t associated with any organization, which is so damn confusing to myself. You’d think the people with all the money and power would have the ability to throw money at talented people, but that simply isn’t the case. Take a look at the UFC Countdown shows, they always follow the same tired formula.
With the fabulous series Phuket Dreaming, that isn’t the case. The first season of the series just finished up, delving into the life of fighters and the culture of Thailand. Of course the supremely talented Genghis Con is behind it, the man who did Miami Hustle. Season 2 is under production now, so in the meantime, watch a trailer showing off the greatness that was season 1.
